Tough guy stuff!!

Everybody have seen that ridiculous Nissan add about “Tough Guy City” What a load of crap!! They must come and take a page out of the book; “How to film a rally championship”
This is real tough guy stuff!!
Mud, flying rocks and torrential rain are the main ingredients, now add blistering winds and time constrains to the mix, let it simmer for two days and you’ll have the Nelspruit leg of the 2013 South African Rally Championship.
In the end it all boils down to perpetration! There is a saying the reads: Pre-planning prevents piss poor performance.  Preparation was the only way we survived the gruelling conditions!

the power of the Great White

Bush Suprise!

The bush is still full of surprises!
This is a Flower-Eyed Mantis, first time I've seen 1.
This critter adepts to its enviroment and uses its excellent camouflage to ambush its prey!
AWESOME!!

I've also shot some pics of this mantis with a 100mm Macro lens... Keep an eye open for my next post....

Winter is on our heels

Cow Sharks - CT

Filming Cow sharks in Cape Town with a Red Epic camera in a Gates Underwater housing and Red One camera for topside shots.
We had a 100mm macro lens in the underwater housing to get macro shots of the pattens on the shark's skin. Very technical, but produced great results.
